Zest Academy Trust offers a business and finance service to suit your needs, including monthly financial visits, budget setting, school resource management advice, Data Protection Officer role, ICT support and many more. The Trust has a team of highly skilled business managers ready to support schools in a multitude of disciplines.

Financial Support

The experienced finance team can assist with your monthly accounts, cashflow analysis, budget setting and reporting.  The team also support leaders in reporting and presenting finances to Members, Trustees or Local Governing Bodies.

DPO Role

Our unique Data Protection Officer (DPO) role supports schools in complying with the GDPR legislation.  The DPO will provide training for all staff, induction guidance for new employees, policies and documentation, assist with Subject Access Requests (SARs) and provide general help desk support.

ICT Technical Support

The Trusts ICT support package offers onsite technician visits, remote access support, hardware maintenance, software installation, printer maintenance, an annual ICT health check audit and server maintenance and support.

Resource Management

The Business and Finance team provide a bespoke school resource management service which includes, annual benchmarking, compilation of the schools efficiency metrics, such as pupil teacher ratio (PTR), percentage of expenditure of all types of staffing, average teacher costs, average class sizes and contact ratio to name a few.

Administrative Support

The administrative support team within the Trust have a wide range of skills and experience from system planning to implementation, customer service support, ParentPay and SIMs reporting among others.  The team can also provide emergency front of house cover with less than 24 hours notice.

Business Management Support

The diverse role of business management can be exhilarating, rewarding and challenging. Within the Trust we have a team of qualified School Business Managers who can provide support to newly appointed Business Managers, assist with specific projects, cover staffing absences and provide school to school support when needed.
